OUTFiT | Classic. Basic.

Late afternoon is my favorite time of day. I find serenity when the sky turns orange-y and the sun kisses the horizon goodbye.

I kinda suffered from food coma the previous night that I decided to have my post birthday celebration by lazily walking around the business district chasing sunlight. The weather absolutely was perfect.

Is this the last light of Durin's day?

STORY | I'm Another Year Wiser

March 1. My birthday!

Having balloons and celebrating it with friends and family was quite a blast. I never really get to have a birthday party growing up. So, the thought of being able to host your own celebration got me pretty excited. Yeah, I get giddy over little things.

It's time to bring out the big balloons

SToRY | Back to School

I was invited by my friend -- who's a professor at New Era University -- to conduct mock job interviews in 2 of his classes. He is teaching several major subjects for the College of Business Administration. Having graduated from this university myself (AB Political Science), I was delighted and honored to give back and share my years of expertise in Talent Acquisition.

Stepping into the halls of NEU, seeing long time acquaintances, whipping pass former classrooms and visiting the cafeteria made my insides smile. This is definitely one of the places I call home.

My outfit today perfectly reflects this experience. Bright, celebratory, jubilant and thankful. Choosing a colorful, smart casual look is also deliberate. I want to make an impression of --- "Hello, I am approachable. Don't be shy to answer my questions." --- to the students I am going to speak with. Almost every piece here is thrifted!

Blazer, dress and shoes: Less than $26.00! Hooraahh!

ThOUGhTS | CHEER-py! :)

Whew! This past few weeks has been an intense roller coaster ride for me. If there's one thing I've learned, it's we’re all placed in a very difficult task. It won't hurt to stop for a while... look at the sky and smile. Life is definitely what we make it and it's not bad at all to leave behind something worthwhile for others to believe that there are tons of beautiful things to be discovered in this world.

My battle ain't over yet, I am still yet to face new challenges and trials. But I am extremely confident that everything will end up well.

Up close

FOoD | An Afternoon Stroll and More

I love hanging out with my crazy cousins! Well, in this photo, “cousin”. I didn’t get the chance to take pictures of the uber fun-ness that occurred the entire day. But trust me, it involved a lot of laughter, street food, more food, insane karaoke and an exhilarating motorcycle ride.

The long afternoon begins with a quiet stroll at the park. The University of the Philippines’ campus is a inviting sight. It never fails to provide the right amount of serenity, joy, inspiration and abode to those who seek. Well, who better to join me in my temporary madness but my cousin, girlfriend and best friend, Mae! Long walks and talks are just a few of the typical things girls enjoy. So, I guess it was a good idea to leave the boys at home. Haha.

OUTFiT | Orange and Blue Hues

Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? Hope your days are as lovely as mine. I've been enjoying the long holiday this past week. Enjoying activities like:
  1. cleaning my crib
  2. reading books
  3. dancing in front of the mirror
  4. singing at the top of my lungs
  5. sleeping late
  6. movie marathon-ing
  7. talking to my boyfriend (whom I so love dearly even if he's miles away) in Viber for hours
  8. and... okay, talking to him some more!!!**wink**
Yes, you got it. I am a home buddy. I would be happy to just stay at home, read books and be utterly lazy.

ThOUGhTS | No1 Cares

Yes.  No1 Cares.  We are all invisible.  As much as we want to believe that people notice, most of the times, they don't.  Let's face it though, we all have that inner yearning to be noticed, to stand-out among the rest, and most especially, just to express ourselves.
