OUTFiT | From Wardrobe to Neighborhood

I have quite a collection of blazers, cardigans, jackets and the like in my closet despite the summer-all-year atmospheric condition in my country. For me, blazers, in particular, help amp up an outfit no matter how simple the pieces you have on. I am attracted with plain to bold prints and pair them with almost any clothing I can think of.

There's beauty in anything rustical...

Ironically, I noticed that I have less than 10 basic tees! Yes. That's weird. I should have a dozen pile of cotton shirts considering the blazing sun is up for more than half of the year. It's only now that I am trying to fill that closet slot (if there is indeed enough space) with this wardrobe must-have.

What's dominating my clothing rails are, obviously, dresses and skirts. That's because I go to church twice a week. We all know that decorum is practiced inside the house of God. In His home, it's only apt that we dress appropriately. As a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ), dress code is strictly implemented. Only decent apparel, meaning smart-casual to semi-formal, is allowed.

What's inside my purse?
Cried a lot during worship, so forgive my swollen eyes...
Blue green, orange, plaid
For worship service today, I pulled out a piece (which I haven't worn) from Penshoppe. Well, you all know me! I love color. This blue green dress actually matches the beautiful sky. And  yes, I topped it with a light weight jacket from Penshoppe as well. Oh, and that's the trick with my blazers, cardigans, jackets... they're all light weight --- So, sweating profusely is the last thing I need to worry about. Haha.

On a different note, I love the petite houses in this neighborhood! The community created a safe haven for their kids by keeping their surroundings beautiful, clean and green. They may not be monetarily wealthy, but love is enormously present here which I believe is enough for the human spirit to do wonderful things, don't you agree?

In-love with the greenery!

  7. Adorable :) and it's ok if you don't have basic tees! It's really casual and if you're always in the office you won't have a chance to wear them anyway right. But anyway, I love your posts, especially because I love the scenery :)

    1. Hello, Mary Anne!

LOL. I was thinking I should have a lot. Haha. But you're right. It just sucks that I have to put on something corporate most of the time. Thanks so much! I took these photos near my cousin's condo. I don't have plants in my apartment, so I kinda got excited to see greens ;-p

      xo!
