SToRY | Plaid and Print

We made it to June! How time flies! And I'm guessing it does when your schedule is full and when you are having fun. You know that feeling of not having enough time and wishing you can delay it even just for a little while?

Well, that's exactly how I felt just last weekend! The usual hours isn't sufficient when catching up with friends. Started my day at 4:00 AM, took the early morning bus ride to Clark and visited my bestfriend. Clark is 58.9 miles away from where I live. Since I will be on the road for almost half of the day, I wore the most laid back outfit that I can think of. My light plaid bomber jacket, printed tee, shorts and laced flat shoes - Plaid and Print!

The travel was surprisingly quick. Noticed I got there in less than 1 1/2 hours. I spontaneously wandered miles away so my bestfriend and I can grab breakfast meals at McDonald's, chatter, rant, rave, nag each other and whisper secrets! But as afternoon approaches, I prepped to get back home. My itinerary also includes spending the evening with my girlfriends. Clark is home to the best tortilla wrap, Persian Avenue! So I didn't allow myself to leave without grabbing their famous chicken pesto! Oh, yum!

Me: (convinced) "FINE!"

    Love it! Looks like your ready to have fun! I completely understand what you mean, as I get older it feels like my summers are just not enough.
